This Thing Called Magic

This Thing Called Magic....
Magic in life is conjured by the tiny little things. The smell of the earth after it rains, the shifting of seasons, the fulfilling feeling of being part of a family, butterflies in the stomach on seeing that special someone, a vacation away from home, the taste of mom's cooking, hanging out with friends and doing nothing, coffee and snacks at midnight, being so engrossed in a book that any track of time is lost, watching our favourite movie for the millionth time but still laughing and crying like a baby: aren't these the very things that make life beautiful and aren't they simply magical? It is true what they say: God is indeed in the details.

Movies Extrapolated

I've learnt, sadly enough, that life never turns out as expected. It twists and turns through out, and takes you for one hell of a roller coaster ride!
So, this page is dedicated to a idea that randomly popped up in my head. All movies that end in a certain way, can't go on like that forever. The characters can't keep on living in the exact same happiness or sadness. Here's what I think happened.
**SPOILERS ALERT**

DEAD POETS SOCIETY(1989)
I seriously would have appreciated if Neil Perry hadn't resorted to suicide towards the end. He should have confronted his father and asserted his passion for acting. If his father still did not agree, he could have blackmailed him that he would suicide; but he shouldn't have killed himself. If he had to disappoint everybody in the end, he could just  have run away maybe. That way he would have got to live his dream, and his friends and his "Captain" wouldn't have been left to mope around. Yes, he disappointed his parents, his friends and Mr.Keating. Though his parents disappointed him more. He destroyed Mr. Keating's life and snatched his friends' happiness. He also broke the Dead Poets Society. But, I guess the story demanded this. I guess the movie wouldn't have been so poignant and wouldn't have left the same impact if Neil hadn't died. *Sighs :"(* It was great movie, though.
